What is the Discipleship Program?

The Discipleship Program is a 6 module program designed to take you through the fundamentals of the faith and provide a solid foundation on which you can build your life in Christ.

This program is taught by a team of knowledgeable Bible instructors. Each participant will receive a comprehensive manual as part of their study materials. These small to medium classes are also great environments to fellowship and get to meet other brothers and sisters in the body.

Why do we offer these discipleship classes?

Jesus gave the Church one final piece of instruction before He left earth to return to heaven. We call it "The Great Commission", and it’s found in Mathew 28:16-20:

"Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

The topics covered in these modules will form the building blocks that you will need to lay a strong foundation for your new life in Christ. As you progress through the material of each class, you will strengthen and develop your understanding of spiritual principles necessary for you to discover and live out God’s destiny for your life.

Level 1: Discovering Your Destiny

This four-week class will introduce you to the building blocks you need to lay a strong foundation for your new life in Christ. Each class is designed to strengthen and develop your understanding of the spiritual principles necessary for you to discover and live out God’s destiny for your life.

Level 2: Discovering the Power of God

This four-week class will introduce you to Biblical Christianity. As you progress through the material of each class, you will develop an understanding of the amazing life of a believer who has discovered the power of God.

Level 3: Discovering the Kingdom of God

The topics of this four-week class will introduce you to the Kingdom of God, it’s unique law and culture, and your place in it. As you progress through the material of each class, you will develop an understanding of the amazing life of a believer who has discovered the abundant life Jesus promised to those who will believe.

Level 4: Discovering the Holiness of God

The topics covered in this four-week class will introduce you to living a life of holiness. Participants will uncover how we should walk as believers in Christ as we go about our daily lives at work, school and within the community. As God’s Word says in Mathew 5:16: Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Level 5: Discovering the Great Commission

The topics covered in this four-week class will introduce strategies we can take to develop a contagious Christian character. Participants will also uncover how to lead their friends and family to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Evangelism doesn’t have to be frustrating or intimidating! Effectively communicating our faith in Christ should be the most natural thing in the world.

Level 6: Understanding the End-Plan

The topics covered in this four-week class will introduce the study of eschatology, also called the study of the end-times. Participants will uncover what the Bible says concerning the Rapture of the Church, the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the Great White Throne Judgment, the time of the Great Tribulation, and much more. Get ready for an awesome ride!
